From his first professional recording at Abbey Road Studios aged seventeen, to world tours with a stellar cast of artists, James Nisbet has honed his craft over more than twenty years to international acclaim.
Born into the music business — his father published Bob Dylan, his mother worked for the Beatles at Apple — James discovered the guitar in infancy and has never looked back.
Post-academic employment as an engineer at New York's Bearsville Studios led to sessions with Cyndi Lauper, Yes and Bob Clearmountain. Not only have his original compositions been performed by many high-profile rock and pop artists, but his commercial and TV clients include Mars, Kellogg's, OXO and GMTV.
He has also regularly MD'd the house band at Ronnie Scott's, with artists such as Jeff Beck, Bryan Adams and Chrissie Hynde.
From intimate club shows at Ronnie Scott's to sold-out world tours and festival headline stages.
James has recorded for many major projects over the years and now has the facility to record guitars, drums and various programming for any session from his home studio.
